GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Davante Adams has a concussion after all.A day after the Green Bay Packers receiver said he had cleared the protocol after a hit that knocked him out of the loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Adams showed up on the injury report with a concussion.Adams left the game in the third quarter after a hit from Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee. The team announced he was being evaluated for a concussion. On his way out of the locker room Sunday night, Adams said he did not have one, but that changed Monday, when the Packers issued their first injury report in advance of Thursday nights game against the Chicago Bears. The quick turnaround might make it difficult for Adams to get cleared in time. He was one of three receivers to show up on the Packers injury report. The others -- Randall Cobb (back) and Jared Abbrederis (quad) -- also were new injuries. Cobb was on the report last week because of a neck injury but played 53 snaps and caught seven passes for 53 yards, including a touchdown against the Cowboys. The Packers also have issues at running back, where James Starks wont play this week after undergoing surgery Sunday to repair a torn meniscus and Eddie Lacy remains hobbled by a sprained left ankle; and cornerback, where they could be without their top three -- Sam Shields (concussion), Damarious Randall (groin) and Quinten Rollins (groin).Coach Mike McCarthy seemed more concerned about those two spots than receiver. ?I think obviously the stress points of our game-day roster for Thursday will be the running back position and the corner position, McCarthy said Monday. Any time youre dealing with your 53-man roster, how youre going to forecast how youre going to line up with the 46, youve got two positions that need attention and, frankly, these injuries that we have, theyre not of long-term IR nature. Thats all part of a normal season. Youve just got to work through it.Its Monday. Were still gathering information. I dont know if well have it sorted out until Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. The Packers will promote rookie running back Don Jackson from the practice squad, according to a source. They will need to clear a spot on the active roster Tuesday before they can make that move. The plan is for Jackson to be active Thursday night against the Bears so theyre not left with just one natural halfback, as they were against the Cowboys. Brandon LaFell Jersey . The Aggies then scored the next 13 points, capped by a 47 yard run by Trayveon Williams to make it 23-7 in the third quarter. There was a lot of good and a lot of bad, Texas A&M receiver Josh Reynolds said. Theres still a lot of things that we can fix, but ultimately we were moving the ball and scoring.UTSA (5-6) was led by Jared Johnson, who threw for 186 yards and a touchdown.Garrett was finally healthy after missing two games and being limited in several others because of a high ankle sprain. Garrett finished with eight tackles, broke up a pass and forced a fumble. Instead of limping as he has been in recent weeks, Garrett was harassing UTSAs two quarterbacks all game.He further showed his ankle is fine when he batted down a pass in the second quarter and celebrated with a spirited dance. He had another big play in the fourth quarter when he sacked Johnson to force a fumble, which A&M recovered. You can see the difference, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin said. Hes a dominant player when hes 100 percent.Garrett has 8 1/2 sacks this season to give him 32 1/2 for his career, making him the eighth player in SSoutheastern Conference history with at least 30 career sacks.ddddddddddddThey are phenomenal at the defensive end position, UTSA coach Frank Wilson said. We tried to do various things to keep them off balance, and assist with blocking with tight ends, but there were a couple of times where Myles Garrett and the other defensive end were able to get beyond us and were disruptive.Reynolds caught a 16-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and finished with 93 yards receiving. Williams had 11 carries for 80 yards to leave him 44 yards shy of becoming the first true freshman at the school to rush for 1,000 yards.THE TAKEAWAYUTSA: The Roadrunners, who have had a football team only since 2011, showed theyve made a lot of progress by keeping things close. But in the end they just arent yet on the level to deal with the size and speed of a team like Texas A&M.TEXAS A&M: The Aggies did what they were supposed to do against a lesser opponent, but Hubenak and the offense will need to be sharper when they return to SEC play next week.Hes been effective for what weve asked him to do, Sumlin said. His biggest characteristic right now is hes finding the playmakers.UP NEXTUTSA: The Roadrunners will look to become bowl eligible for the first time when they host Charlotte on Saturday.TEXAS A&M: The Aggies face a quick turnaround, wrapping up the regular season Thursday night when they host No. 16 LSU.---More AP college football http://collegefootball.ap.orgWholesale Nike NFL JerseysWholesale Authentic JerseysCheap Jerseys WholesaleCheap JerseysCheap Jerseys ChinaChina NFL JerseysCheap Jerseys Wholesale ' ' '
