[UPDATE] Hey Authentic Darren Sproles Jersey , here’s some more bad news following the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. NFL Network is reporting that the Eagles are preparing to be without veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace for “a while” as he recovers from the ankle injury he suffered on Sunday. “Evaluations ongoing but it’s clearly going to be an extended absence for Wallace,” said NFL insider Mike Garafolo. “Another tough blow at for Philly.”This news isn’t unexpected considering the signs didn’t look good for Wallace. The 32-year-old had to be carted off the field on Sunday after he got tackled on a screen reception (which was ultimately called back). Wallace was then seen wearing a boot on his leg in the locker room. He also tweeted this sad face emoji after the game:The Eagles really did not need another injury at wide receiver. Philadelphia was already looking into free agent options at that position last week given how thin they are on the outside. With Wallace expected to miss time, the Eagles are down to the following four receivers: Nelson Agholor Youth Jason Kelce Jersey , Kamar Aiken, Shelton Gibson, and DeAndre Carter. That’s far from ideal. Philadelphia is missing three of their top four receiver options. The “good” news is that Alshon Jeffery is expected to return to the field soon. But he still might be at least a week away after he was only a limited participant in practice last week. The Eagles can also activate Mack Hollins back to the 53-man roster later this season http://www.eaglesauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jay-ajayi-jersey , but not until after Week 8.In the meantime, the Eagles might look to make another free agent addition. It’s also possible they promote Braxton Miller from the practice squad. Or maybe they get desperate enough to trade for Josh Gordon? We’ll see. FIRST UPDATE: NFL insider Adam Schefter is describing Wallace’s injury as “potentially season-ending.” Yikes.SECOND UPDATE: Doug Pederson says Mike Wallace suffered a fractured fibula. He still has some testing to go through before it’s determined he’ll need to be placed on injured reserve. The ninth week of Sunday’s NFL action ends this evening with a Sunday Night Football game between the New England Patriots (6-2) and Green Bay Packers (3-3-1).It’s the Tom Brady versus Aaron Rodgers showdown we haven’t seen since 2014. It’s also potentially the last time we’ll ever see this matchup since these teams aren’t guaranteed to play again until 2022.
