JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars running back Chris Ivory will not play in Sundays game at San Diego as he continues to recover from a medical condition that required hospitalization.The Jaguars ruled him out -- along with cornerback Prince Amukamara, who missed practice all week with a hamstring injury -- on Friday. The Jaguars (0-1) were leaving for San Diego (0-1) on Friday afternoon, and neither player will make the trip.Ivorys absence means T.J. Yeldon will again get the start. Yeldon ran for 39 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in the Jaguars 27-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Denard Robinson and possibly Corey Grant, the teams kick returner, will get extra reps in relief of Yeldon.The Jaguars planned all week as if Ivory was not going to play. He was hospitalized early Sunday morning -- hours before the teams season opener against the Packers at EverBank Field -- for what the team called a general medical condition. He underwent tests and treatment and was released Tuesday.Ivory returned to the team facility Thursday, didnt practice that day and was not present at the Jaguars walk-through Friday.The Jaguars signed Ivory to a five-year, $32 million contract in March.
