China has lowered the threshold for permanent residency "green cards" for foreigners serving in some government-affiliated institutes and scientific and research centers Cheap Ramon Humber Jersey , the Ministry of Public Security said on Monday.
According to the ministry, the newly added sectors include State laboratories and engineering research centers, technology centers of key companies and foreign-funded research and development centers.
Foreigners who are vice-professors and researchers or above, have worked for at least four years and lived in China for three years with good tax records, will be able to apply for permanent resident permits at the local entry and exit management department.
Launched in 2004, China's green card policy provides permanent residency for high-end foreign experts and people with large investments or for outstanding contributions to the country.

"Such measures will play an essential role in attracting more high-level foreigners, including many overseas Chinese," the ministry said in a statement.

By 2013, more than 5,000 foreigners had managed to get green cards, a small number compared with the more than 600,000 foreigners living in China.

The narrow-body aircraft, which will compete with Boeing's 737 and the Airbus A320, is a symbol of China's ambitions to muscle into a global jet market estimated to be worth $2 trillion over the next 20 years. It first flew on May 5 after numerous delays.

"The interval between the C919's first two flights is extraordinary," said Bradley Perrett, a veteran China watcher and reporter at Aviation Week in an article on Wednesday.
"The conclusion must be that COMAC was not really ready for flight testing in May... A common view is that the C919 was put into the air so early for strictly political reasons, although there is no suggestion that doing so was unsafe," he said.
The Mitsubishi Regional Jet Cheap E.J. Gaines Jersey , Japan's first passenger aircraft, took its second flight eight days after it first flew in 2015 while the gap between the first and second flight for the Airbus A350 was five days, Perrett said.

The C919 has so far announced orders for 730 planes from 27 customers, many of which are Chinese leasing companies.
Last week, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Financial Leasing Co Ltd became the first customer to make a second order for the C919 jet.

NAIROBI, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Qian Jian on Wednesday said China will strongly support the Horn of Africa nation's peace and reconstruction process as part of the bilateral pact between the two countries.
Qian said Beijing had made positive contribution to Somalia in various fields including economic and social development to assist the country in acquiring political stability.
"The Chinese government has built over 80 infrastructural projects like hospitals, stadiums and roads to ease the burden of the Somali people. We have dispatched a medical team of more than 400 members in 13 batches to the country since 1991," the envoy said in Nairobi during celebrations to mark the 68th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
