The Boston Bruins locked down the Chicago Blackhawks, taking a 2-0 decision, in Game Three of the Stanley Cup Final, giving Boston a 2-1 lead in the series. Patrice Bergeron scored the Bruins second goal, recorded a game-high seven shots and won 24 of 28 faceoffs (85.7%), taking half of the games total of 56 faceoffs. Bergerons goal was setup, on the power play (as a 5-on-3 was just expiring), by RW Jaromir Jagr. Jagr is still searching for his first goal of the playoffs, but has eight assists in 19 postseason games. Boston G Tuukka Rask stopped all 28 shots he faced. Chicagos attack was hampered by the absence of RW Marian Hossa, who has an upper body injury and was ruled out after warmup. With no Hossa, Jonathan Toews most common linemates in Game Three were Marcus Kruger and Michael Frolik. Toews did lead the Blackhawks with five shots on goal, but didnt score, leaving him with one goal in 63 shots (1.6%) in the playoffs.
